first real post!
this week has been... good and bad! Charlie had his birthday party over the past weekend, which was really fun. We looked through old sketchbooks with friends, i got a really cute photo of him and his friends together and overall it was a blast :L. The next day I took him out to a fancy italian place and we had chicken piccata, yummy stuff. The bad news.. is.. that i did pretty bad on my calculus exam. The class average was like a 60 and i got a 67, brutal. the scariest part though is that I have 4 exams next week!!! eek! i'm pretty scared :E.
in other news though, I think im gonna say i've officially abandoned marigold. it was a good run, but honestly after working on a game for nearly 2 years on and off i think im over it. that game suffered from a lot of technical debt. at the point where im at, its a pain in the ass to wade through all my shit code. for that reason, i'm over it! I appreciate everything working on that game has done for me, without it my pixel art would still be really bad. I'm ready to start on the next thing with my new knowledge, though. things are looking up!
charlie and i also cleaned out apartment cuckoo crazy style and everything is so beautiful now, it feels brand new! it was honestly much needed, we've both been so busy with school that it's been hard to find the time to do anything more than a surface cleaning.

so my friend jonny and i have been losing our minds thinking about runescape leagues coming up. oh yeah and im going to new york soon too lol★ he has been texting me all day long from his work, like dude you're gonna get fired! the boss reveals have changed everything, in a few hours from now when he gets home from work we're gonna spend hours theorycrafting! the theorycrafting part is honestly the most fun part :>
